NYC Transit Museum

There is a nanny in our building who has become very close with Clara. She watches a little girl that is a bit older than Cooper, so the foursome are quite active and have a great time together. Yesterday they took the kids to lunch at Applebees after the park.

Today's excursion?

The NYC Transit Museum.

All the way to Brooklyn to see subways, trains, and buses from yesteryear.

This is right up Cooper's alley! He is broadening his horizons from a simple car obsession to a sophisticated one that includes trains, garbage trucks, tractors, car trailers, and backhoes. Yup, backhoes.

He gets so excited when he sees them, and mimics the sounds they make while pretending to "dig" things up. We met Van, Elaine, and Lynn at Johnny Foxes on Marathon Sunday, and Cooper was ECSTATIC to see them all lined up due to the new subway line.

How cool to check out the old-school subway system.
Doesn't it look like Cooper had a blast running around in this space?
Picture from Clara's blackberry!
