Roy G. Biv

Can we just state again that Traci and Eileen are awesome? After their total redo of the bathroom in their home, they donated all leftover tiles to the lake house and our make-over project. We only had to purchase a box or two to have a sufficient amount to get the job done. So so generous. We owe them dinner and many many Bitburgers and so much more!

Maria took everything up to the lake house today, and hopefully our contractor will be able to start this week. New fixtures and medicine cabinet and floor. A whole different look! She and Cooper got everything inside and hurried back into the car so to outrun the impeding storm. Had some rain through Port Jervis, but the sun came out when on 84 towards New York.

This rainbow is WAY bigger than the picture shows. Doesn't do it justice. You could see both sides of the arc making contact with the ground. It was massive, and seemed like she was going to drive right through it. Could see all the colors and it was so wide. And Maria swears she saw gays and a pot o' gold.

Unfortunately, it didn't stay this way. The rain came teeming down so loud that Cooper wasn't a happy camper. Not fun. Tornado warnings and downed power lines and accidents littered the news reports on the radio. Haven't seen a storm like this in a long time. Didn't let up until on the Palisades and almost into New York City. There's no place like home. There's no place like home.
