Baby Get-Together

So let us recap..... Lori was in LA for work, she came back, turned around and flew to Colorado, did the skiing thing, touched down, got showered/dressed and out to a black-tie affair, and home at 2am. Sunday morning? Rest and relaxation? HELL NO.

It was 'Baby Day' on Sunday!

(it is not as cheesy as it sounds)

There happen to be quite a few of Maria's friends pregnant at the same time, and we have been throwing the idea of all getting together since their prenatal days! Finally, finally it had come to fruition! The attendees: Mara/Eli (Vera and Roy), Susie/Miriam (Rachel and Logan), Rachel (Sam), and Jenny (Gray and Rohan). Too bad that Ilissa, Christina, and Jenny couldn't make it. Hopefully next time!

We all had a really nice time. The kids kind of played around each other at first, and then started interacting more and more. Nice spread of bagels, cold cuts, vegetable/cheese plate, muffins, etc etc. And mimosas! Can't have a Sunday brunch without them!

Now that we did this once, it will hopefully be easier to get another date on the calendar. Susie mentioned having people at her place. We also have the big courtyard and playground on the 3rd floor of our building, and really.... We could all just as easily meet at the Central Park Zoo or something. Whatever! Just something getting us all in the same place would be great!
