Sitges, Spain (Oct 4th)

We are now in the process of researching how to win the lottery, abandon everything American, and move to Sitges. Such a perfect place. Why do we like it so much? Beautiful. Not too touristy. Only 20'ish minutes from Barcelona on train. Safe. Gay-friendly. Lots of shops/stores. Amazing food. Yeah, we need to figure out how we can become highly-paid expats.

Right off the train we ran into a parade celebrating the patron saint of the town. Lots of kids were involved in the festivities. Drums were as represented as they were in Barcelona.

We were able to stand very close to the action, and Cooper enjoyed the children and music. People would "switch out" and take turns walking as a puppet, and Cooper would crack up as they disappeared under the dresses.

We found the nest.
This cracked us up.

A bunch of guys were busy at work on some amazing sand sculptures.

Some were complete with fountains and fire. Way cool.

What would be a trip to the beach be without touching the water? Cooper gets SO excited at even the possibility that he would be able to play a bit. Albeit very short-lived, he was quite happy with his Mediterranean Sea splash'fest.
Until we meet again, Sitges.
