Baby Shower

We hosted Christina's baby shower in our apartment on October 2nd. We hosted, but we were not the hosts - that job went to Elissa and Molly. We are going to proceed with this blog post, but know that Christina will have issue with the pictures we have chosen. (dude you're not fat, you're pregnant!)
Family and friends. Yes, they came to Harlem.
Elissa and Molly had the idea for a theme for the food......
Everything was mini or "baby-size". Little quiches, egg rolls, crab cakes, and of course Christina's favorite - BABY red velvet cupcakes. The theme, thank god, provided the Micionis with the excuse to buy two trays of tea sandwiches from Center Food Market on the Jersey Shore. So so good. Maria stole more than a couple chicken salad ones and stashed them away for later on. Yes, they are THAT good.

Want to keep up with Michael and Christina? Check out their blog.

The couple got so many things that were on their registry, and a few things from the fancy-shmancy store that were not too bad at all! They are equipment'ly prepared for this child. And the rest? Oh, it will be easy! Luckily we are a block away and will jump at every opportunity to relive our 'newborn baby days', and let Michael and Christina cash in all their "babysitting coupons" they earned watching Cooper an average of one night a week for his entire life!
