Walk On The Wild Side

On Monday, Maria and Cooper attended a Callen-Lourde event at the Central Park Zoo.  Sarah unfortunately had to travel this week, so Van needed a date and a second pair of eyes for Jackson and Dylan.  After torrential rain that poured down on the city up until an hour before the doors opened - the skies cleared, temperature stabilized, and everything seemed to dry up sufficiently for all the kids to take advantage of everything the zoo had to offer.  Music, extremely skillful face-painting, cotton candy, sno-cones, sea lion show, arts/crafts, and so much more.

We realized as we were walking up that we did not have a camera.... Picture taking is so Sarah's department.  Damn it.  Oh well.  Managed to grab a few pictures from the organization's website.

Scooter gave quite a divine performance.

Where's Waldo?
It was nice running into so many people we knew, and it was too bad Lori wasn't there as well.  Seems that this will be yet another event that we will put into our annual calendar!

Callen-Lourde is truly a phenomenal organization.  Very cool that Stacey is right there with them doing great work, and Madison ENT and Facial Plastic Surgery was one of the sponsors this year.
