Brooklyn Or Bust

Maria and Cooper hiked out to Greenpoint to hang out with Mara, Vera, and Roy yesterday.  The boys share a birthday, Cooper arrived at 10:37am and Roy at 9:09pm on the 29th - and Maria and Mara were also in the same hospital. On the same floor!  Looking back, the two would have NEVER imagined this is how life would have worked out for them!

Roy has two pounds and two inches on him.

Vera woke up from her nap as Cooper was going down for one.

All packed up and ready to go.

It was SO good to hang out with Mara. Been so very long. Too long! We have to be better at making plans and getting together. And the next time we have to make sure we include Lori and Eli in the mix.

Other news?

-- Met up with Michael and Christina last night at Dinosaur BBQ. Good seeing them, and surprised we were all free on the same night!

-- Cooper weighed 15lbs 12oz (62%) and 25" (50%) at his appointment this week. The doctor never expected him to hit or go beyond the 50th percentile until he was at least 6 months old. Lori had the unfortunate responsibility of holding Cooper still while he received a vaccination in each of his thighs. They both cried at the experience.
