Christmas Eve / Christmas Day

We had a very low key Christmas Eve - hanging out, a trip to the mall to see Santa, lots and lots of cooking, wrapping gifts, meeting Luke's girlfriend, decorating cookies, and going to church in the evening.

The boys did a fab job on their gingerbread houses.
Oh so proud!
Of course, there were cookies set out for Santa Claus.
Christmas morning! Santa came!
Cooper, getting in some of his pent up 'naughty'.
Luke, our resident 'Big Strong Man' will grab Cooper for a picture.
How is that working out for you Lucas?

Want presents? Gotta pose first!
Cooper didn't get the presents-thing, but did enjoy his bounty!
Best gift? BUZZ LIGHTYEAR!!!!
Cooper is showing Mason a thing or two about the guitar.
Luke? Smiling??? We knew he would love an American Girl.
The men. Engrossed. We think they are watching 'Cinderella'.
While the guys were watching their sappy Disney flick, the rest of us were in the kitchen hanging out. The best part of the evening had to be when ROBYN graciously announced that MARIA should be the one to have first choice of the rooms when we all go away to Kiawah Island to celebrate the 50 year anniversary in August. Isn't that sweet? And Maria repaid this kindness by cooking a whole package of breakfast sausages and setting off the smoke detector at midnight. Nice, eh?
