Tuesday the 8th

Tuesday. What did this mean for Cooper and Maria?

Their most holy 'Day of Rest'.

The Hart's took the day and went to SeaWorld's water park. Aqualand or something..... Wait, what was it really called? Oh right, it was Aquatica. Maria decided that the last thing that Cooper needed was to be tied to the stroller for the majority of the day, and a water park would have extremely limited options for a toddler. So the Hart Troop grabbed their suits, towels, and sunscreen to make the trek to enjoy all that water would be able to offer them.

First thing Cooper did? He took a very LONG NAP in his comfortable crib in his quiet and dark room for over two hours. The poor kid needed it! When he woke up, he and Maria headed to the 'Cascades' pool to have lunch at the bar and do a little swimming of their own. Maria even Facebook'd about her wonderful lunch and wonderful beer she was enjoying.

The pool was massive. Huge. Little "islands" with sprinklers. A waterfall. But the best part? About 1/4 of the expanse was water that was only 1 foot deep. Cooper was in HEAVEN. He could walk and splash and sit down and even fall over - and it was as safe as can be. Maria sat right next to him as he played with a few other kids. Cooper loved holding on to Maria as they ventured out into the "deep" water - 2 feet, 3 feet, and even in the 4 foot/waterfall area. Cooper had a blast. They played in the pool for hours.

The duo then headed over to the Marketplace where they had a little outdoor craft and farmer's market set up in the parking lot. There was a guy playing live music, and Cooper was engrossed with the guitar and the singing. The kid even applauded him at each song's end. As luck would have it, there was a beer tasting of local brews. Maria partook, as Cooper "helped" the guy working the bar by opening and closing each of the coolers and overseeing the immigration of ice from one to the other. It was quite a big project for Cooper.

Walked back to the room. Cooper checked out every car, bicycle, and golf cart he passed along our journey home. Talked with the ducks. Checked in with the stream. Secured the perimeter. All in a day's work. And Cooper and Maria truly had a great day together.
