Snow came earlier than we thought on Thursday morning. So much so that it caused Maria to make the decision to turn around and not continue on to her gig that was located off the Palisades that day. The route was untouched by any sort of plow, salt truck, or great amount of traffic. Really treacherous, and 1010WINS continuously reported other highways, tunnels, and bridges that were closing around the city. No job is worth an accident! Home. Smart decision.
Picked up Van and Sarah and drove up to Brewster. Snow had slowed by then, and it was a much easier ride. A little shuffling of bodies once we arrived Upstate: dropped me/Coop/Sarah at the house, they went to pick up Michele from the train, dropped Michele home, they left to pick up pizza and meatball subs, Kim came home, got Cooper into his snowsuit, Kim and Maria shoveled the driveway while Cooper sat in the whiteness and watched, Lori and Van came home, and then we all ate. Whew!
Getting ready to go outside. Got to break in the new boots.
We had to make a snowman, right?
