Christmas Eve

Trying to keep up with this blog! We are in 2010, and are finally posting Christmas pictures. We have to make an effort to be better!

We went to Spring Lake Manor for Christmas Eve dinner, and this is probably the third or fourth year we have eaten at this restaurant. We really think it is time for a change. Don't think the dinner was ever without its multitude of problems, and Maria was a good sport to not make a big deal of her 'medium rare' steak being served to her basically raw. Couldn't give them the benefit of the doubt and call it 'rare'. It was raw. If you listened closely you could here a MOO. Her grandparents are so generous taking everyone out, and would love to see them get their money's worth. Next year!

Our dear brother reached his limit regarding the realities of children even before our meals arrived!

"For the love of God......", said Michael as he buried his head in his hands.

Kayla and Alex.

A little Christmas bonding.

Little People's Airport. Kayla gave it to Cooper, and he loves it!
Grandpa admitting he is not the one in charge. Another thing that Grandpa received was a donation in his name to David's Coffee Shop in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania. Maria's parents are friends of the Josephs, and got the opportunity to visit them and the cafe last Summer. David's Coffee Shop was created by the Joseph Family to help their son David and others with autism make the transition to the working world once leaving the education system at the age of 21. It is an amazing place - offering coffee/tea, bagels, sandwiches, soups, etc to the community from 7am-1pm daily.

Monetary donations or Wegman's giftcards may be sent to:

Cooper received this Mets outfit from Karen and Randy.....
Guys, thank you, but you can see Yankee Stadium from our building. Lori is a big Yankees fan. And WHO won the World Series? So sorry Brutons! But we promise you that Cooper will wear it. Lori has a bunch of friends who have not given up on the Mets. Promise!

Casey and Jeanie changed into comfortable clothes after dinner....

SO not fair! :-)

We got into the act too!

Everyone was so generous, and we truly loved everything we received. Thank you!

Shea was perfectly behaved with all the craziness of opening the gifts.

Cooper absolutely adores him!

Cooper, where is the Christmas Tree?
Yes. Pajamas. Now. I am exhausted!
