Hangin' Ten

This past weekend, Maria's family came up to spend the weekend at the lake. Come to find out, Lori conspired behind the scenes for this plan to be sucessful, as Maria had no idea they were all coming until the car pulled into the driveway on Friday night. They all had visions of Maria being so touched to see everyone that tears would well up in her eyes.  Maria?  Tears?  Yeah right! 

We had an fabulous steak dinner on Friday night with the meat that Todd lovingly marinated for us all. On Saturday morning we drove into Port Jervis for the 'Arts Walk' before heading back home and taking the boat over to Sand Beach for sun and alcohol. The twins had a blast splitting their time between the huge mound of sand and the water.

This is Alex manipulating a little girl so he can snag the boogie board.

Convinced her to give up the board.

Politics in his future?

A little skittish at first.....

But he enjoyed every moment.

And the kid soon became a pro. 

Mark got his chance next.

And he also had no fear!

Kept getting up until he perfected it.

Ready for the ocean.
