Eye Doctor

Cooper had an appointment with an eye specialist on Wednesday. Before we go on, GRANDMAS - HE IS FINE! We started getting concerned when we noticed in several photographs of Cooper that one eye seemed to be a bit more closed or smaller than the other. We thought it was best to get him checked out to rule out any issue.

Our pediatrician referred us to this practice on Central Park West.

First of all, Cooper never wanted to leave the waiting room!
We saw Dr. Steele. He was very thorough and great with Cooper.

All is good! Cooper has no kind of eye issue or medical problem. He has normal functioning in both eyes and there is no cause for alarm or concern. They also did a computer scan/reading of his eyesight, and at this point he is 20/20 - awesome news, since Maria is a big time contact lens wearer and basically blind without them!

We are relieved that all is well. Will take him back next year for a follow up appointment, and it will be helpful as time goes on that we have a baseline from such a very young age. Whew.
